A writer's pain

I thought my pen won't write again
I thought the ink is gone
and the nipple broken

I am an injured foal
an abandoned lamb
struggling to know life
trying to understand how things works

I am an African child
My past says I am a Savage being
my present says am inferior
and my future is unknown
I am strong but my wills are weak
I have the self but the esteem is gone
I am injured, broken and lost

Death is close to my soul
I am on the brink of shrinking off the memories of mankind

I am black
my sisters bleaches their blackness away
they curse my skin
they see it as an inferior flesh
but I am still African.
Tired, the pen is broken, the writer has sores
